Hi i'm JoLynn
Your wedding day is a story—one filled with emotion, beauty, and countless details that deserve to be remembered. While the content creator captures these precious moments, the stationery sets the tone for the day with custom paper goods that tell your love story. To show how this collaboration benefits couples, we spoke with Samantha of The Spritz Social, a talented wedding content creator, about how stationers and content creators work together to create seamless and unforgettable weddings.
Can you tell us about yourself and your journey into wedding content creation?
“I’m Samantha Wynn, the founder of The Spritz Social, a wedding and event content creation business based in Cleveland, Ohio. My journey began after my own wedding in 2023 when I realized how meaningful it was to have real, candid moments captured in a way that felt authentic and personal. At the time, wedding content creation hadn’t really made its way to Ohio, and I found myself wishing I had a service like this for my own day. That missing piece, combined with my love for weddings, inspired me to launch The Spritz Social—giving couples the experience I wish I had. Since then, I’ve been fully booked for 2024, nearly booked for 2025, and now booking into 2026! I’m also looking forward to my second destination wedding in the Dominican Republic in early 2026.”
What inspires your content style, and how do you approach capturing each couple’s unique story?
“My content style is all about authenticity, emotion, and storytelling. I believe wedding content should feel personal and reflect the couple’s unique energy, not just look aesthetically pleasing. I approach every wedding with a documentary mindset, focusing on capturing the raw, in-between moments—like stolen glances, heartfelt laughter, and the way the couple interacts naturally. Before the wedding, I collaborate closely with each couple to understand their personalities, vision, and must-have moments, ensuring that every piece of content truly feels like them. “
How do you ensure that your content captures the overall aesthetic and details of a wedding day?
“Every wedding has a distinct vibe, from the venue and décor to the stationery and florals. I pay close attention to the details that define that aesthetic—whether it’s a modern, minimalist celebration or a romantic, vintage-inspired affair. I also work with planners, designers, and stationers to make sure I understand the visual direction of the day. That way, I can highlight everything from grand installations to the smallest personalized touches, like monogrammed napkins or wax-sealed invitations.”
Why do you believe details like stationery are important for wedding content creation?
“Stationery sets the tone for the wedding long before the big day. It introduces the theme, color palette, and overall aesthetic to guests. On the wedding day, it becomes a beautiful storytelling element that ties everything together. Whether it’s a delicate vellum invitation, a hand-lettered menu, or a custom crest on the programs, stationery adds depth and detail to the content I create. These small but impactful pieces bring cohesiveness to the visual story.”
How does collaboration between a stationer and a content creator elevate the client’s experience?
“It creates a seamless, visually stunning narrative. When a couple invests in both a talented stationer and a content creator, they’re ensuring that every detail of their wedding is captured beautifully. Stationery isn’t just a functional piece—it’s a design element that adds to the wedding’s aesthetic. When I work with a stationer, I know how to showcase their work in a way that enhances the overall content, ensuring those details don’t go unnoticed.”
Can you share an example where a strong partnership with a stationer made a significant impact on your content creation?
“Collaborated with a stationer on a styled shoot where the overall aesthetic was very intentional. We worked closely together to ensure that the flat lays reflected her vision perfectly—from the paper textures to the way each piece was styled. By aligning on the design details and incorporating thoughtful elements, we created content that truly showcased her work as she intended. It was a great example of how teamwork between a stationer and a content creator can elevate the final result!”
What are some best practices for ensuring that the stationery elements are beautifully incorporated into content?
“Communication is key. I always ask couples or planners for photos of their stationery ahead of time so I can plan how to style it. If there is any special signage that the stationer is also doing I talk with the couple about those things ahead of time to get a feel for what I will be seeing ahead of time.
On-the-day attention. I capture stationery in various settings—before the ceremony, at the reception, and in guests’ hands—to show how it integrates into the wedding.”
Are there specific moments or shots where stationery plays a crucial role, such as invitation suites or table settings?
“Yes! Flat lays of invitation suites are a must, but I also focus on day-of stationery like menus, programs, seating charts, and custom signage. These pieces bring consistency to the wedding’s branding and create polished content that ties everything together. I also will incorporate it later in the evening in a late night “less polished” flat lay to show its evolution throughout the day.”
What trends are you seeing in wedding content creation that highlight the importance of stationery?
“Stationery is becoming more interactive and experiential, making it an essential part of wedding content creation. Couples are moving beyond traditional invitations and menus, incorporating elements that engage guests and enhance storytelling.
One big trend is interactive stationery, like QR codes on invitations that link to wedding websites or digital guestbooks where guests can leave messages. Another standout trend is creative seating charts—couples are ditching standard escort cards for unique displays, like champagne walls, vintage keys, or even custom lottery tickets that add an element of surprise and fun.
Custom wedding newspapers are also growing in popularity, giving couples a way to share their love story, introduce the wedding party, or include fun games and puzzles for guests. These make for incredible content moments, whether captured in flat lays, candid guest interactions, or even fun reels.
Additionally, couples are using personalized “day-of” details, like custom playing money for casino-themed cocktail hours, signature drink menus designed like vintage postcards, and illustrated vow books that feel like keepsakes.
Overall, wedding stationery is evolving from a simple paper element to a meaningful storytelling piece, and as a content creator, I love finding creative ways to capture and showcase these details!”
What advice would you give to couples about preparing their stationery for content creation?
“Make sure you have a full, unassembled suite available for flat lays. If possible, provide extra pieces, like wax seals or ribbon, to help enhance styling. Also, think about how your stationery elements tie into your wedding aesthetic so everything feels cohesive.”
How can couples use stationery to create visually stunning moments for their wedding content?
“Consider interactive stationery—like handwritten place cards that double as keepsakes, or a creative seating chart that guests engage with. These moments not only add beauty to your wedding but also make for unforgettable content.”
If a couple is debating whether to hire a stationer and/or a content creator, what would you say to convince them of the value both bring?
“Your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and every detail deserves to be remembered. A stationer brings your vision to life through design, while a content creator ensures those details are captured and shared beautifully. Investing in both means you’ll have a wedding that looks stunning in real life and in the memories you’ll revisit for years to come.”
