Hi i'm JoLynn
If you’re dreaming of a wedding that feels like walking into a garden in full bloom, this one is for you! I recently had the opportunity to design stationery for a vibrant garden party wedding at Knotting Hill Place. Think European charm, bright florals, and elegant letterpress invitations that set the tone. The palette was so dreamy — vibrant pinks, oranges, and yellows. From the invitation suite to the courtyard reception, here’s a look at how every detail of this wedding came together.

Long before your big day, your invitation suite is the first glimpse at your wedding. Your story, your style, your venue… it’s all reflected in your invitations. As the stationer behind this shoot, I wanted couples to feel the elegance of Knotting Hill Place before they ever arrived.
For the main invitation card, I chose pink letterpress printing on crisp white card stock. Letterpress printing presses ink into the paper, giving it a beautiful texture you can actually feel. It’s one of those details that makes guests stop and say, “Wow— this is luxurious.”
One of my favorite elements was the custom monogram. Located on the main invitation card, the envelope, and the menus (you won’t want to miss them!), it added an extra touch of luxury. Finally, a unique die-cut details card in bright pink added a playful pop of color. These elevated details and bright colors prepared guests for a garden party wedding.

The ceremony took place in the manicured gardens of Knotting Hill Place. The focal point was a wrought iron gazebo completely covered in flowers. The Intrigue Teaches workshop, led by Sarah Campbell, created the floral installation. Roses in peach, coral, orange, and yellow cascaded from every column. It was stunning.
The grounds give the whole space a European estate feel. Gravel pathways, sculpted hedges, and classic statues completed the look.

The courtyard reception at this Knotting Hill Place wedding was showstopping. Long tables overflowed with florals in pinks, magentas, oranges, and yellows. Ghost chairs kept the look light and airy.
Each place setting featured amber plates, gold flatware, and the custom menu cards I designed. Leaning into the elevated garden party vibes, I opted for a light yellow vellum overlay featuring the same monogram from the invitations.
The menus also acted as place cards. Crafted by Cambridge designed a stunning seating chart display that showed guests to their tables. Then, the personalized menus directed them to their seats.
Day-of wedding paper does more than just look beautiful. It also helps guide your guests throughout the day. Learn more about why your wedding stationery is so important.
In addition to the stationery and signage, there were many ways the vendors elevated the guest experience at the reception:
Every curated detail from this garden party wedding was pure perfection. Take a look for yourself!
